It may not snow in SoCal, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy some winter fun. If you want to bring back some old childhood memories of ice skating on a frozen pond, then head to downtown Santa Monica to relieve that past. Spend the upcoming weeks with the family, skating the night away. This is a great place to spend a date with that special someone as you get up-close and personal. If you feel a need to warm up after hours of fun, then pop over to the Starbucks next door, who also sponsors this event. The skating rink is located less than two blocks from the Third Street Promenade. The rink is open daily and will be open till Jan 8, 2008.
Admission is just $10 including skate rental.
