Yesterday, I took the day off to support the Writer’s Strike. I may not work for studios but I know what it’s like not to be paid your worth. So everyone support your writer’s because without them, ya’ll wouldn’t be nothing.

Ok, enough of my soapboxing. I have some great information to share. It seem those crazy cats from Paper Magazine are rolling thru LaLa Land for their 3rd Annual L.A Paper Project. They’re putting together their annual L.A. issue and throwing a series of art events, concerts, dance parties, dinners and much, much more throughout the week.

All in the name of celebrating Los Angeles!. I can so dig that.

First things first, the L.A. Project storefront, designed by Barbara Bestor, is located at 233 South LaBrea (near 3rd Street) and is open to the public from November 8 to November 11.

To make the invasion the talk of the town, those peeps from Paper will be bringing some of their favorite non-LA peeps — Sarah of Paris-based, super-, super-cool legendary boutique Colette, Andrew Andrew, Ludlow Street staple-slash-artist Marc Razo, Polaroid snapper Henny Garfunkel and photographer/filmmaker Cheryl Dunn to insure mad hijinks.

Even though most of the good parties are invite only (no, I can’t get you on the list, my big butt is not even on the list), you will still be able to partake in some Paper-driven fun.

P.S If you are invited or figure out how to get to those parties, let a girl know.

Here is a lowdown on the weeks fun:
